Before you begin
1. Choose a quiet, well-ventilated space. Sit comfortably with feet on the floor.
2. Have a small scrap of paper and a pen for your intention (optional).
Steps
1. Set up the plate. Place the charging plate on a flat stable surface. Put the golden-grid side up. Place the selenite bar on the plate (selenite gently “holds” cleansing energy).
2. Write your intention (optional). On the scrap of paper, write a short, positive root-chakra affirmation or wish (example: “I am safe, grounded, and provided for”). Fold it and place it under the plate or next to the selenite.
3. Light the palo santo. Hold the stick, light one end until it glows and then blow the flame out so it smolders. Waft the smoke around your lower body, feet, and the space where you’ll sit, moving clockwise. Say aloud or silently: “I clear what no longer serves my safety and stability.” Extinguish in a safe dish when done.
4. Place the candle. Put the red wishing candle into the holder and set it on the plate (or beside it if space requires). Red supports the root chakra — hold your folded intention in your non-dominant hand while you light the candle.
5. Charge & ground. As the candle burns, rest a hand on the selenite (or hold it). Breathe slowly, 4–6 deep breaths. Visualise a warm red light at the base of your spine extending down into the earth, anchoring you. Repeat your affirmation 3 times. Spend 5–15 minutes here — use whatever feels right.
6. Make a small offering (optional). If you like, drip a tiny bit of wax onto the folded paper or a small keepsake to symbolise sealing your intention.
7. Close the ritual. When you feel complete, thank the space aloud or silently. Safely extinguish the candle (use a snuffer or fingertip to avoid splatter) and fully put out any embers from the palo santo.
Quick care & safety
Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep away from drafts, pets and children.
Selenite is water-soluble — keep it dry; wipe with a soft dry cloth only.
Use palo santo sparingly and in a ventilated area; fully extinguish after use.
Frequency & suggestions
Use when you feel scattered, insecure, or when starting a new financial/home project.
For maintenance, a short 10-minute routine once a week is helpful; for big intentions, repeat nightly for up to 7 nights.

At Starlight Tarot, your satisfaction is important to us. We comply with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and want to ensure your experience with us is fair, transparent, and respectful of your rights.
Change of Mind
We do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind purchases. Please choose carefully before finalising your order.
Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
If you receive an item that is faulty, damaged, or not as described, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law. To request a return:
- Contact us within 7 days of receiving your item at starlighttarot.au@gmail.com
- Provide your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos.
- We may request that you return the item to us for assessment. If the item is confirmed to have a major fault, you will be offered a full refund, replacement, or repair.
We will cover the return shipping costs if the item is deemed faulty or incorrect.
Non-Returnable Items
For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on:
- Used personal care items (e.g. fragrance oils, mists, rollers)
- Opened or used wellness products
- Custom or made-to-order items
Unless these items are faulty, they are not eligible for return.
Returns Process
Once your return is approved, we will provide instructions on how to send your item back to us. Please ensure the item is unused and in original packaging where possible.
Refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days of receiving the returned item.
Digital Products (eBooks, Online Courses, Downloads)
Due to the nature of digital products, all sales of digital items are final. This includes but is not limited to:
- eBooks
- Online course documents or recordings
- Downloadable PDFs or files
Once a digital product is purchased, a dedicated download link will be provided to the buyer. By completing the purchase, you agree to waive your right to a refund for these products, as access is granted immediately upon payment.
Under Australian Consumer Law, we are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind, or if you fail to download or access the product correctly after purchase. However, if the digital file is faulty, corrupted, or not as described, please contact us within 7 days and we will assist you in accessing a correct version.
