Welcome to The Phantomwise Tarot. This black-and-white world is a little bit circusy, a little bit Wonderland, and a little bit nocturnal phantasia of its own invention. It is a mix of myth and fairy tale, where each individual you meet may be an illusion, reflection, or distortion.

When Erin Morgenstern was working on her international bestseller The Night Circus, she began a creative exercise to better understand the complexities of the tarot. This painted series captures the themes of each of the 78 cards in a traditional Rider-Waite-Smith tarot deck with equal parts whimsy and mystery. Archetypal figures like The Fool, The Hierophant, and The Lovers emerge from dark skies and swirling clouds. The ravens may not be what they seem. The cats know more than they'll ever tell. The accompanying guidebook offers interpretations of the cards and suggested spreads for tarot readings for beginners and expert readers alike.

These cards have waited patiently for over a decade to find their way into the world. Please welcome them into yours.

Shipping Policy

Domestic Shipping (Australia)

All domestic orders are shipped via Australia Post, with the option of Standard or Express delivery.
Rates are automatically calculated at checkout.

Processing Time

Orders are typically processed within 2–3 business days.
Please note that orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day.

International Shipping

We are pleased to offer international shipping to selected countries. Please review the information below before placing your order.

We currently ship to the following countries:
USA, Canada, UK, Japan, China, Thailand, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, and Malaysia.

  • Shipping rates and delivery times vary depending on the destination and shipping method chosen at checkout.
  • All orders include tracking numbers which will be emailed to you once your order has shipped.
  • Customs fees, import duties, or taxes may apply depending on your country's regulations. These charges are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in our shipping fees.

Return & Refund Policy

At Starlight Tarot, your satisfaction is important to us. We comply with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and want to ensure your experience with us is fair, transparent, and respectful of your rights.

Change of Mind

We do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind purchases. Please choose carefully before finalising your order.

Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is faulty, damaged, or not as described, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law. To request a return:

  1. Contact us within 7 days of receiving your item at starlighttarot.au@gmail.com
  2. Provide your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos.
  3. We may request that you return the item to us for assessment. If the item is confirmed to have a major fault, you will be offered a full refund, replacement, or repair. 

    We will cover the return shipping costs if the item is deemed faulty or incorrect.

Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on:

  • Used personal care items (e.g. fragrance oils, mists, rollers)
  • Opened or used wellness products
  • Custom or made-to-order items

Unless these items are faulty, they are not eligible for return.

Returns Process

Once your return is approved, we will provide instructions on how to send your item back to us. Please ensure the item is unused and in original packaging where possible.

Refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days of receiving the returned item.

Digital Products (eBooks, Online Courses, Downloads)

Due to the nature of digital products, all sales of digital items are final. This includes but is not limited to:

  • eBooks
  • Online course documents or recordings
  • Downloadable PDFs or files

Once a digital product is purchased, a dedicated download link will be provided to the buyer. By completing the purchase, you agree to waive your right to a refund for these products, as access is granted immediately upon payment.

Under Australian Consumer Law, we are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind, or if you fail to download or access the product correctly after purchase. However, if the digital file is faulty, corrupted, or not as described, please contact us within 7 days and we will assist you in accessing a correct version.
